Since purchasing the Goodland crush plant in 2021, Scoular has invested in retrofitting the oilseed processing facility to increase processing rates, replace dated equipment, and significantly update our seed receiving and handling. Examples of these upgrades include a new scale, high-speed leg and dump pit, as well as facility enhancements that include new soybean crush equipment, a new extractor, and office space. These upgrades will increase capacity by 30 percent to 1,000MT daily, allowing us to process 11 million bushels of oilseeds annually.
We have a long history of service in this region, going back more than 25 years. New employees will join a growing team of talented professionals operating 2o+ assets in our Kansas footprint, including three longstanding grain elevators in the Goodland area.
Our Goodland crush facility will need a variety of positions to execute the highly technical extraction process, ensure smooth seed drop-offs from producers, and maintain a safe and clean facility.
