Scoular delivered for our producers and customers in 2024.
We expanded capabilities for dairy feed and market opportunities for producers as well as launched programs to connect customers with farmers growing crops sustainably.
Our news headlines shared these achievements and others throughout 2024. Here are four highlights:
We celebrated a major investment for producers with a ribbon cutting for our new canola and soybean oilseed crush facility in Goodland, Kansas.
Farmers are the heart of our business, and this facility serves them by opening producers to markets for renewable fuels and protein meal for animal feed. The facility has begun shipping out both meal and oil to customers. Congrats to the team for their strong efforts.
The facility’s capability to process both canola and soybeans gives the operation versatility and long-term viability, both important to our producers. We’re particularly proud that the crush facility investment is also serving the Goodland area by creating over 30 new jobs.

Our team made big strides in linking farmers with customers seeking sustainably sourced products.
This fall, we processed our first “Climate-Smart” soybeans at our Andres, Illinois, facility. Funded by the USDA’s Climate Smart Commodities Program, this initiative rewards producers for using sustainable practices like no-till farming and cover crops.
These food-grade soybeans are used in soy milk, enabling our customers to offer sustainably grown products.
Earlier this year, we launched our regenerative agriculture pilot in conjunction with two wheat milling clients, promoting farming practices that enhance soil health and cut greenhouse gas emissions. This program will generate climate-smart flour for food production.

Scoular acquired three grain handling facilities in central Kansas, enabling the company to more than double its storage capacity in the region and expand market opportunities for area farmers.
The additional facilities complement the company’s shuttle-loader in nearby Pratt, Kansas. Scoular invested in major upgrades at Pratt, including boosting unloading speeds and storage, that were completed in 2022.
We have carried out a number of facility upgrades in recent years to better serve producers, including improvements wrapped up in 2023 at our shuttle-loader facility in Hancock, Iowa.
