Scoular’s Natural Source Mixed Tocopherols (vitamin e) are natural antioxidants that have been isolated from edible vegetable oils. They are a widely used ingredient in food and dietary supplement solutions to help protect finished products from the damaging effects of oxidation. In doing so, they extend product shelf life and help prevent chemical reactions which can lead to undesirable changes in finished product flavor, odor, or color.

Soy Lecithin

Vitamin E

Scoular’s d-alpha tocopherol oil is a natural source form of Vitamin E derived from edible vegetable oils. It is used to supplement products like soft-gels, tablets, nutritional bars and beverages with Vitamin E. Scoular offers Vitamin E in a few different forms: d-alpha tocopherol oil, acetate oil, acetate powder and succinate powder. The acetate form of Vitamin E provides better long-term stability where exposure to light or oxygen may be a concern, and the powder acetate form is used in tableting. The succinate form is widely used as a source of Vitamin E in dietary supplement applications such as tableting.
