Scoular CEO awards scholarships to children of employees

OMAHA, Nebraska (April 3, 2025) – Demonstrating leadership and compassion for others helped seven students receive college scholarships through a program funded by Scoular’s CEO Paul Maass and his wife, Julie.

The Paul & Julie Maass Scholarship program awarded $25,000 in scholarships for the 2025-26 academic year. The program was launched four years ago to support the children of Scoular and Petsource employees.

Three $5,000 scholarships and four $2,500 scholarships were awarded to recipients who are high school seniors or college students. Selection was based on financial need, demonstration of compassion for others, leadership, and GPA.

“These young people are truly inspiring, and Julie and I are honored to be able to support them as they strive to achieve their dreams of obtaining a college education,” Paul Maass said. “We hope this assistance will have a positive impact on these remarkable students and their families. Congratulations to this year’s recipients and best wishes for a successful academic year.”
