Beet Pulp

Beet pulp is the vegetable matter which remains after sugar is extracted from sliced sugar beets. As a bulk feed high in fiber, it is unique that its fiber is easily chewed and extremely digestible. It is supplied as either dried flakes or compressed pellets, and when fed to horses, it should always be soaked in water first. Beet pulp is also an ingredient used in pet food formulations.
