We manage storage, cleaning, packaging and shipping in-house, providing consistent shipments with traceability to our soybean and corn customers throughout North America and across the globe. Our close relationships with the family farms surrounding our Andres, Illinois and Covington, Ohio facilities allow us to deliver a reliable supply of quality products.
Our Andres and Covington facilities operate with the highest food safety standards. Andres meets the auditing scheme for the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) certification. These two facilities also hold organic certification, and maintain processes and procedures in compliance with the Non-GMO Project Standard for production of Non-GMO Project Verified products.
We support the sustainability initiatives of our customers and farmers. Our soybean farmers follow the Soybean Sustainability Protocol (SSAP), so we can deliver identity-preserved and sustainably grown single-variety soybeans—whole for food-grade applications, further processed options, as well as high oleic. We can provide soybeans sourced under the USDA “Climate-Smart” initiative, in which Scoular participates.
