Chief Diversity Officer
Jennifer serves as Scoular’s Chief Diversity Officer, leading Scoular’s diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy, as well as Vice President and Senior Associate General Counsel leading Scoular’s labor and employment, compliance, litigation, and regulatory legal practices.
In her Chief Diversity Officer role Jennifer is responsible for shaping efforts to evolve Scoular’s culture of inclusion and increasing and advancing the workforce’s diversity. Jennifer’s work focuses both on reimagining and redesigning systems and practices to further inclusion and equity and on skill building, bias mitigation, and inclusive leadership development. Jennifer partners with business leaders to ensure the company executes on a strategy that represents the perspective of employees, customers, community partners and suppliers. She also co-leads the company’s cross-functional Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Jennifer was a LeadDIVERSITY 2019-2020 Advocate, participated in Diversity Lab’s Diversity in Law Hackathon and the Mansfield Rule certification program, and partnered with the Nebraska College of Law on diversity and inclusion efforts for Nebraska lawyers.
Prior to Scoular, Jennifer served on in-house legal team roles with Conagra Brands and Jack Link’s Beef Jerky and practiced at a multi-service law firm. Jennifer graduated from the University of Nebraska College of Law. She is a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional and a Certified Information Privacy Professional and holds a Mediation Certificate from the University of Missouri School of Law – Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution.
